In the summer of 2025, DEKRA will celebrate its 100th anniversary in Berlin, the city where it was founded. To mark the occasion, jangled nerves will transform the Arena an der Spree into a venue for encounters and creative discourse. However, this four-day event will not only focus on the company’s eventful past, but also look to the future.

A century of change, progress and challenges – yet the anniversary is also being deliberately used as a starting point for the next chapter. jangled nerves is developing a brand experience and event concept that combines DEKRA’s 100 years of expertise with the company’s future-focused themes. From clear messages and brand-consistent design elements to the on-site presentation, this has resulted in a consistent, tangible brand image.
The event kicks off with an immersive stage production highlighting key milestones from the company’s early days in the 1920s right through to the 2030+ strategy. At the end of the show, the large LED wall splits, creating a transition to dialogue-oriented formats: workshops, themed worlds and focus stations offer in-depth insights into the three key future fields: Mobility, Digital Trust and Sustainability. The dynamism of the show flows seamlessly into interaction and exchange.
Open-plan spaces provide a setting for spontaneous group discussions, shared insights and new perspectives. The three thematic areas are brought to life through a variety of information and discussion formats. On the Main Stage, inspiring keynote speeches provide powerful impetus. The event concludes with an atmospheric networking evening by the River Spree, offering opportunities for exchange, partnership-building, street food, music and conversation.
