In the summer of 2025, DEKRA celebrates its 100th anniversary in Berlin, where the company was founded. To mark the occasion, jangled nerves transforms the arena on the banks of the River Spree into a place for encounters and creative discourse. Over four days, the exchange not only reflects on the company’s eventful past, but also looks to the future.
A century of change, progress and challenges – but the anniversary is also deliberately being used as a starting point for the next chapter. jangled nerves is developing a brand experience and event concept that combines DEKRA's 100 years of expertise with the company's future themes. From clear messages to brand-consistent design elements, a consistent, tangible brand image was created for the on-site staging.
The event kicks off with an immersive stage production that highlights key milestones from the founding days in the 1920s to the 2030+ future strategy. At the end of the show, the large LED wall splits, forming a transition to dialogue-oriented formats: workshops, themed worlds and focus stations provide in-depth insights into the three central fields of the future: mobility, digital trust and sustainability. The dynamics of the show seamlessly transition into encounters and exchanges.
Open-plan rooms offer space for spontaneous groups, shared insights and new perspectives. The three thematic areas are enriched by a variety of information and dialogue formats. Inspiring keynotes on the main stage provide strong impetus, and the event concludes with an atmospheric networking evening on the Spree with space for exchange, partnerships, street food, music and conversation.
