Focus on immersive storytelling, brands, and exhibitions
For more than 25 years, we at jangled nerves – communication architects have been successful on the international stage. We specialise in the fascinating interplay between the physical and digital worlds, creating spatial and media experiences and communication solutions for our clients, including museums, exhibitions, showrooms, visitor centres, trade fairs and events. We combine in-house expertise and services in strategic consulting, conception and design with those of a planning office for temporary structures, museum design and exhibition architecture, as well as production for film, media and interaction. We are looking for you to join our team in Stuttgart as an editor as soon as possible.
As a Senior Copywriter | Concept Development (m/f/d), you will develop guiding principles and content concepts for brand spaces, exhibitions and immersive formats. You think in spatial terms, manage content strategically and ensure that complex topics are transformed into clear, engaging narratives.
Your tasks:
- Developing overarching narratives, guiding principles and storylines for brand spaces and exhibitions
- Designing spatial dramaturgy and visitor journeys
- Translating brand strategies and content into spatial experiences
- Developing and drafting texts for analogue and digital touchpoints (e.g. exhibits, media installations, wayfinding systems)
- Close collaboration with design, architecture, scenography and digital teams
- Presenting and advocating concepts to clients
What sets you apart
- Several years’ experience (approx. 5–8+ years) in copywriting/concept development, ideally in the fields of exhibitions, brand spaces, scenography or experience design
- Strong skills in storytelling, dramaturgy and the strategic development of content
- Experience in developing narratives within a spatial context
- Ability to communicate complex topics clearly, precisely and in a way that resonates with the target audience
- Confident manner in presentations and when engaging with clients
- Interdisciplinary thinking and a passion for collaborating with creative and planning teams
- Excellent command of German (C2) and good command of English
