»Stuttgart and you 2038« is the first in a series of discursive formats in the Salon Sophie of the StadtPalais. It investigates the future of Stuttgart. Visitors are questioned about their expectations for the future of the city and their individual hopes and desires.

In a deliberately abstract, fantastical urban landscape crafted from graphic cardboard backdrops, visitors are invited to vote on future issues at media stations: How will we live in Stuttgart in the year 2038? Visitors provide their opinions and the results are displayed graphically on the monitor.

»Stuttgart and you 2038« is an authentic future barometer that encourages people to exchange views on the path Stuttgart should take from the perspective of those who live there.
